RE: OpenSUSE 10,3 problems...

change the "postdrop" in main.cf to "maildrop"

Code:
setgid_group                 = maildrop

This bug is solved but after RC4... Sad

RE: OpenSUSE 10,3 problems...

grrr, this is really fucked, i have changed the file, but it still comes out with that dammn error :S

The file must change itself or something?

Do i have to change it other places than in that file?

RE: OpenSUSE 10,3 problems...

well, the background is: you need a group name which exists.

Normally (suse default) this is "maildrop" and suse creates a group named maildrop when installing postfix (or other mailer software?). You need to have something like "maildrop:!:59:" in your /etc/group file.

You change the right file?
/etc/postfix/main.cf

RE: OpenSUSE 10,3 problems...

i got the "maildrop:!:59:" in my /etc/group file.

I change the postdrop to maildrop in the right file, yes.

But what i dont understand is, why it changes back when i perform the install?

RE: OpenSUSE 10,3 problems...

maybe you need to change it in the "raw data"...
So, maybe also in /etc/ispcp/postfix/main.cf or /etc/ispcp/postfix/working/main.cf

http://www.isp-control.net/ispcp/browser...ix/main.cf

since march 22 it's corrected

RE: OpenSUSE 10,3 problems...

I installed the latest trunk today again on OpenSUSE without problems.
The only thing that is not running out of the box is awstats.

Maybe it would be the best option to do a fresh OpenSUSE install on the server and check out the latest ispcp trunk via svn.

But note that the installation guide in the /doc covers only the installation of ispCP itself. You have to setup and prepare your opensuse installation for the installation of ispCP.

I have a step by step guide available, contact me if you need it.

RE: OpenSUSE 10,3 problems...

In http://www.isp-control.net/ispcp/browser...se/INSTALL the "chapter" "requirements" do cover the preparation to install ispCP on a minimum (eg. "text only") opensuse installation...
