Why not 'Fox Panel' ?

Pros:

-> Easy to spell (In English, Spanish, etc)
-> Easy to remember
-> Easy to type on a keyboard
-> Easy for logo designing

Cons:

-> May be future problems with another 'Fox' trade mark like '20th Fox' ?

I think a single word low syllable count would be good. Weither or not it means anything about the project? i dont think it matters.

MOS => MOPS

Using the input seen here so far, my hitlist is at the moment, in no order:

FOX / Fox Panel - born out of "Fast Control System" - FaCS - FOCS - FOX
- Logo design easy, nice meaning,
- we keep the "X"
- reminds Firefox but different enough

MOPS / Mops Panel - born out of "My Own System Panel"  - MOS
- In German it means a fat guy or a small fat dog race
- Logo design easy (using "small fat dog" rather than the fat guy), funny meaning,

COPS / Cops Panel - born out of "Control Panel" - COP
- in English a cop is a a policeman, a control panel is on the good side of the law too
- Logo design easy, good meaning, reminds of safety

OpenHC(P|S)? Open-Host-Control-(Panel|System)
OpenMSC(P|S)? Open-Multi-Server-Control-(Panel|System)

What are we doing ?

Are we makeing an ISP panel or are we makeing an webhosting controlpanel ??

An ISP are an Internet Service Provider !!, like the people/companies that we all use to provide us with the lines/cables to access the internet.

An Webhosting provider are an company selling webhosting for websitets etc., like the guy's that we are making this panel for.

So it can only be :

W eb
H osting
C ontrol
P anel

- Make It Easy - Keep It Simple.


BTW, I allready have registred the names, WHCP.dk, WHCP.org and WHCP.info to make sure they wasen't take, but no matter I sell/use the for other stuff, like free hosting or so.
