Yeah - some time we need some sort of test script which does several checks...
but I know - this also takes some time...

i think, when the miniinstaller will be an part of ispCP, the errors with not installed packages will go to zero. 
OS : Debian 4.0 Etch 64bit
ispCP Version : 1.0.0 r1335 - 27.08.08 (NightlyBuild)
Activated : AWStats dynamic
Mods : update via NightlyUpdateScript

People out there should READ EXACTLY BEFORE they do anything!
It is a very good Step-by-Step installation...there is no Magic or something needed...

That's true! Overlooking the corresponding message output from apt is a mistake, which can happen after long hours of work. But I overlooked the clearly written hint in the INSTALL doc  . My "idea" to put this hint in that document therefore was a mistake. I apologize. Anyhow, I was impressed how quick I could get help here. Thanks again!
