[SOLVED] Use numeric ID -> Before the name - HSorgYves - 10-08-2010 08:58 AM

Dear developers,

I have installed ispCP with the Use numeric ID option set to Before the name. Now when I create a database and a corresponding user and login into PMA I cannot see the database; instead I get "No database". Can be reproduced on your demo installation as well...

Any known workarounds?

Best Regards,
Yves

I`ve tested, but I can not reproduce. Demo server does not actually add database (afaik) so is normal. What version do you use? Check as root if database is created or not, and if user has privilege on that database

The version is 1.0.6 with fixed phpMyAdmin (import bug).
The database and user is created and the rights are correct (access through mysql has been tested).

I can grant you access - in PM - to my system to test if you like...

Thanks,
Yves

Problem solved!

This was a tough one and not related to ispCP. The flag skip-show-database was set in my.cnf and modified the behaviour of the "show databases;" command..., see http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/privileges-options.html

Many thanks to Nuxwin for his time and devotion to help solve this problem...

Yves
