RKHUNTER failed during installation. - Instagator - 11-15-2010 07:01 AM

Hello,

So here's my problem.
Rkhunter is failing during the install process and I figured out how, but I need to find a work around solution.

[ERROR] External command 'rkhunter --update --nolog -q' exited with value 1 !

Now here's where the problem is. The reason why its failing is because ISPCP stops named service which in turn cannot update RKHUNTER. It fails because name resolution is down. So once Ispcp fails, i start bind, and rkhunter update works fine.

Any fix for this?

Thanks
Paul

Since I knew what this step was, I bypassed it.
Its setup but when I try to load the page, it gives me
"An error occured! Please, contact your administrator!"

But nothing has been emailed to me.. whats the big deal.
Where are the logs stored that are emailed?

Thanks
