Problem after reboot - nikolas22t - 12-18-2010 10:46 PM

I have ispcp running on a VM , everything working fine until today i found it was slow and reboot the VM , after the reboot , sites doesn't come up , neither admin panel. i tried to start apache but doesn't do anything

when i login via ssh i get this :

Code:
Linux server3 2.6.32-26-server #48-Ubuntu SMP Wed Nov 24 10:28:32 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS

Welcome to the Ubuntu Server!
* Documentation:  http://www.ubuntu.com/server/doc

System information disabled due to load higher than 1

apache start...

Code:
root@server3:~# /etc/init.d/apache2 start
root@server3:~# /etc/init.d/apache2 stop
root@server3:~# /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

nothing happen , no error at all ... but neither confirmation that is stoping / starting

any ideas what may happen ? ISPcp is running on Ubuntu 64bits
for some Reason it has /etc/init.d/apache2.1 .... i don't know where it apears ... only need to sudo /etc/init.d/apache2.1 start
how i can make apache2.1 start automatically instead of apache2 ?

RE: Problem after reboot - fluser - 12-18-2010 11:28 PM

Copy it to /etc/init.d/apache2
Ubuntu has a problem with vms. I don't know why, but I had the problem too.

To be honest i have it running on 3 VMs and all working fine exept from the 1 i mention above. The other 2 is working fine...

to make it start auto i have to put it somewhere like rc.startup or ...i am wrong ?

RE: Problem after reboot - fluser - 12-19-2010 12:48 AM

Didn't work for me. Copy /etc/init.d/apache2.1 to /etc/init.d/apache2 and it will work again...
Problem is, that etc/init.d/apache2 is empty.

Not quite sure why this happens, it happens to me too...seems to be a bug in ispCP?

After restarting the computer, has such problem is because of generally the system disposition choice.
