The discrepancy with IP range 77.??.???.??? - 77.??.???.??? has been fixed. Regards, Sadhu Atehortua SenderBase Support. -------------------------------------------------------- In my new IP shipments to Yahoo, as well as any entity that uses the filtering Ironport has no problem or is considered SPAM. As you can see from the dates of the mail is a quick process, 2 or 3 days maximum, start your reputation as a neutral if your server does not receive complaints going up in calificacion. RE: Mail arrives in SPAM on Yahoo - alecksievici - 03-21-2009 08:12 PM thanks alot, i'll send them an email with all the necessary dates and i hope for the best RE: Mail arrives in SPAM on Yahoo - alecksievici - 03-24-2009 04:31 PM I got a response from senderbase: Quote:Senderbase gives these IPs a neutral reputation score because we doSo if i understand correctly all i have to do is to send a bunch of emails so that they can rate my ips :| and frankly this does not look like a good option to me. I'll send an email to Yahoo Tech Support and see if i can get an answer from them and if they say i have to get a good reputation i'll just start mailing stuff to friends, so who's willing to give me his email address so i can send him a pretty ecard from my server ). RE: Mail arrives in SPAM on Yahoo - alecksievici - 03-25-2009 07:32 AM well since i said i'll keep you up to date with my progress here we go: senderbase replyed: they said there's nothing they can do, yahoo has it's own policy. yahoo replyed and asked me a question: How many bounced emails are required before you consider an email address to be inactive and subject to removal from your list for soft and hard bounces? after searching on the internet i found 2 things: 1a. A soft bounce is an e-mail message that gets as far as the recipient's mail server, but is bounced back before it reaches the recipient. 1b. A hard bounce is an e-mail message that has been returned to you because the recipient's address is invalid. 2. The default (i guess) options are: soft bounces: 3, hard bounces: 1 since i'm new at this mailing stuff i have a question of my own: where these soft/hard bounces options are set? RE: Mail arrives in SPAM on Yahoo - rbtux - 03-25-2009 07:35 AM do you have some content-filters running? Because postfix does not softbounce per default... Because postfix does not softbounce per default... yes i do: amavis+spamassassin+clamav, i used your tutorial (http://www.isp-control.net/forum/thread-5789-post-46436.html#pid46436 ) RE: Mail arrives in SPAM on Yahoo - rbtux - 03-25-2009 07:52 AM hmmm just wondered and setup a small postfix gateway with correct rdns without any spf / dkim or others... sent an email to yahoo account and it reached the inbox... not the spam folder... I don't know what you did? Did you send bulk mail or did you run mailinglists with a lot of bounces on that ip?
