RE: release rc3, and other things

You're right, we are only 2 persons cannot organize, fix bugs, code and do PR (okay, PR is done by digibyte).
So we need more coders (doesn't matter if for Perl (Engine) Configs / Distro Maintainers, Frontend, ...) so malte and me can concentrate on organizing. There are a lot of ideas on my desk not yet touched because of no-time. Big Grin

btw. I've fixed 4 tickets.

RE: release rc3, and other things

Oh well
about ten testers for one coder - maybe more than in Redmond :-))

Perhaps the list of programmers is not up to date anymore...
(and: the names are different, so it's not always clear who is who :-)

Sometimes I think it's ok to just write: hey guys I've no time this week. I think we all accept theese timeouts...

I'm always awake early, otherwise I cannot do business, ispCP and university. Big Grin

Form to join will follow, we try to set up coding standards, a new form of organisation and joining the team rules.

RE: release rc3, and other things

Easy guys !!

I already once suggested that we did make TEAMS for the different parts of the development, and there was then made an design team, with Henrik$ and Kermit etc.

We have now the following icons for Team Members:

- and this:

- so I'll suggest that You contact ephigiene (Malte) to be added at an team.

Best regards,

RE: release rc3, and other things

If i want to update from RC2b to RC2c must i use the uninstall file in the setup folder?

Or only backup the database, delte the vu2000 user and use then the setup from the rc2c?

No, do not use the uninstall file.
Backup the database (in case something goes wrong), delete the vu2000 user and the vu2000 group and then run the RC2c setup.
