RE: RoundCube Webmail
so patching parts independently... handy but confusing
example:
PATCH release for ISP-CP:webmail
PATCH release for ISP-CP:dns
PATCH release for ISP-CP:account_creator
or just in new releases:
ISP-CP Bug Fix release
hmm.. i would like both i think

RE: RoundCube Webmail
I think maybe would be the best to be able to patch (or replace) some part of vhcs (as the webmail or the dns manager if it's from another project), but the most integrated parts of vhcs should be considered as a unique component, because of the integration of all the components (sorry for my english).

RE: RoundCube Webmail
Well the problem with Roundcube is basically that isn't not done yet.
Altough the graphics are fun, it's still a bit buggy, and actually "extremly" slow because of the "huge" amounts of javascript.
I'm currently using Squirrelmail for the great functions and support for it. so for example if i want to add an calender or something, i just can. With roundcube that will be impossible.
At the discussions above:
I do think it's a good idea to release patches between release, but the 'big' problem with those small patches is it that i will get messy finally...

RE: RoundCube Webmail
Hi Guy's
First let me ask, Why spend so much time on the talk about our ISPCP now ?, when there are so much to do on the release of VHCS Omega, yet.
As said before in this forum, not a single line of code are been made for the ISPCP yet, and maby it will be build modular, then all the suggestions for using this or that, because this is better then that, and so on, will never more be an problem, due to that fact that You can use what suits You.
Add at least all Your whises to the whislist, and then we see at the time of start for the IPSCP project. And please remember that the release of the first ISPCP will not be some kind of fork for VHCS, it will be an whole new control panel, but with the option to upgrade from VHCS to ISPCP.
So keep up the good moode.
Best regards,
MicCo

RE: RoundCube Webmail
A little bit offtopic, but would it be possible to update from an "old" vhcs install to an Vhcs omega?
(currently using vhcs 2.4.7.1)
