RE: Ftp & file management problems.
it sounds as an Hostname error what Hostname did you set?
localhost
lol
sorry, it was web1
That must be what is wrong, at the ispcp setup i entered whitestar.dk as a hostname and the hostname is web1. Can i change that in ispcp or do i have to reinstall the whole thing?

RE: Ftp & file management problems.
web1 is not a FQDN !!! Correct that in your /etc/hosts...
OS: Debian Lenny
ispCP Version: Trunk r1033
Activated: AWStats dynamic, Dovecot, Avelsieve, Selective Greylisting, Bogus MX Filter,
No Webtools, Roundcube, Some own modifications

RE: Ftp & file management problems.
Someone that want to use ispcp should know how to handle such simple problems...
Thats the Point! In my eyes, Krisxxx has now more than enough hints whats wrong. And the Problem here is not ispCP.

RE: Ftp & file management problems.
@joxi:
well you know my opinion to that topic:
We don't have to make ispcp(-setup) dummy friendly... Someone that want to use ispcp should know how to handle such simple problems...
well - I'm always sort of upset when running the setup script... so it's not only for the noobs :-)
I'll try to make a patch: if `hostname` retunrs something without a pouint, then `hostname -f` will be the default FQHN...
/J
2008-03-16 ispCP RC4 released!!!
