can i created a ftp account for the end user , but i don't want the end user get the right to amend the ftp file path .

Ps:at the same time, i need to open all right let the user to access the ispcp for email function e.g can let create email acount by end user..

Postfix Problems with ISPCP

Hi,
I have a few users and they're using external MX records (external mail servers).
But when they send Mails to their own domain postfix throws an error:

Code:

### postfix/local[5551]: BA984704589: to=, orig_to=, relay=local, delay=0.24, delays=0.13/0/0/0.11, dsn=5.1.1, status=bounced (unknown user: "admin")

because the user and mailbox doesnt exists on this server.

how can I fix that?
I even don't get "log" mails, cause my primary mail address has a Hotmail MX record :/

i need to set up a .photography domain.
ispcp doesnt recorgnize it and denies the domain.
i disabled domain verifiaction but this is not enough.
how do i get the domain set up??

Hi!

I have 2 problems. The first problem is when i want to make a new domain on admin panel, the new domain status check box is empty. I examined the database ispcp/domain and I've found that the domain status contains get_file() | [ERROR] File '/etc/ispcp/bind/working... if I rewrite for ok the domain is gonna be good.

Do you have any idea how can I solve this problem?

The other problem:

I wanted to use the mailing system and I added some new domain and I've got relay access denied error message. I've found that the new domains not exist in the /etc/postfix/ispcp/domains file, it is interesting cos the mysql conatins the mail domains aliases and so on. aliases transport except domains file.

With ispCP Omega Virtual hosting control system I log into my domain and create email account.

But today when I created 2 new accounts I am getting this when I use
ispCP Omega Webmail Login to log into the accounts.

This is the third time it happens to me, suddenly all services are stopped (red) in services status. The time period it happens is a day difference or so. I cant figure how this happens and why it happens. This machine is up and running for almost a year with zero problems and suddenly this one.

I cant figure it out in the logs :/ anyone with same error?

there have been these problems lately...
this message comes up when im in the ftp and try to upload a file and files don't upload(i could do it some time ago but not now) :

policyd-weight config file

Hi, after watching mail logs i need edit score level of my policyd-weight, in some treads i found this change in etc/policyd-weight.conf but i havet this file on this place, some config seem to be in usr/sbin/policyd-weight without .conf. In documentation in shared/policyd-weight i found something about create this file in etc. May i copy file without .conf with content to etc and rename to .conf?
Or edit file in usr/sbin?

Guys I need your much appreciated help

I kept the system for a longer time alone and must now do an IP change nut I cannot log on to the admin panel anymore, I simply forgot the password. When I do a password reset procedure and enter the new received password I get again a invalid user/password combination.

Any idea whats wrong or how I may fix this. I can root access the server and have also god permissions to the mysql database.

Help a newbie with FTP!

I've been searching for answer for this few days now, after i finally managed to install ispCP-Omega 1.0.7, and i've got my control panel working to cp.mydomain.org and now im stuck with filemanager/ftp. In control panel it says my ftp works on my IP and when i try to connect with my user which i made in cp and with root user it says "

Unable to login to FTP server localhost with username ___*

Are you sure your username and password are correct? Please contact your ISP helpdesk or system administrator for help."

I dont know should it be localhost there.. my username is right, my password is right.. I've pointed(dont know is it the right word for this) DNS http://ftp.mydomain.org so i could connect with that address in filezilla or someother prog like that but its not working.

Ask me if you need more info/logs etc. And sorry for my english(been awake over 24h struggling with this.)

I have added new domain in ispcp domain and created SAME DB WITH SAME NAME E PASSWORD to old server.

I have insert from ftp my 400mb db file in home of my domain.

Can i use simply this command: mysql < FILE_NAME.sql -u root -p

Hi all

I have a problem with a couple of domains which i deleted. They keep reappearing in the ispcp.conf apache file.
I checked the ispcp database and in the domain table they can't be found. But somehow ispcp is generating the deleted domains in the config file.
As a temporary fix i delete the lines of the domain from this config file, but on each change in ispcp the lines are regerated so this is getting annoying.

Can anyone help me solving this irritating issue
