Description

The current network script is nasty in that it will not necessarily play nicely with existing firewalls (or restart cleanly).

The following patch modifies it so it should interact nicely with any/most iptables firewall systems.

This is the first of (hopefully!) many patches I plan to submit in the next few weeks. My apologies if it's not in the right format.

By the way... that reminds me that the debian package of vhcs 2.4.7 has some patches against the init.d scripts, in case you want to take a look at them.
